PINATUBO is the first offering of Central Luzon Documentaries of CLTV36. A one hour creative visual documentation of the eruption of Mount Pinatubo seventeen years ago and the eruption’s effects on the lives of the people affected by the second most devastating volcanic catastrophe of the 20th century. The documentary features several testimonies of the victims on how they cope with the tragedy and where in their hearts find hope and the courage to move on and continue with their lives as if nothing happened. It also features how this disaster changed the landscape of Central Luzon forever. In addition, it also tackles government’s actions to alleviate the suffering of the victims. On the lighter note, Pinatubo also displays the contemporary beauty of the crater and the significant livelihoods that this once monstrous mountain has created.
